Road ID – It’s Who I Am
I am happy to announce that I am now a Road ID affiliate. I’m excited about my new partnership with this company that was borne out of near tragedy. Co-owner, Edward Wimmer tells his compelling story here:
Put yourself in Edward’s place… standing in a ditch watching your life flash before your eyes. Perhaps, by now, you have already had an experience where you haven’t been able to speak for yourself because of a road-related injury.
Road ID, worn as a bracelet, anklet, necklace, or shoe accessory, can speak for you when you can’t speak for yourself. Thanks to this sleek line of versatile, sexy, slim, and efficient ID accessories, first responders can notify your loved ones in the event you can’t do it for yourself.
As an affiliate for Road ID, I get a little sumthin’ sumthin’ any time someone purchases one of the company’s products by first clicking on my affiliate link. You’ll see my linked ad right here on Runwritedig, as well as on my freelance website, Chuckdouros.com.
Give it some thought. As a runner, you know how important preparation and caution are to a successful running career.
Have you had any close calls, or (God forbid) any real emergencies where a product like this came in handy?
That is awesome congrats! I never take my Road ID off, I get a lot of questions at work as to why I have an emerald green band and what it means!
Thanks for reading, and for the comment Sara. Emerald Green… cool. I’m a basic black kinda guy, but I’m sure you rock the GREEN. 🙂
My wife got me an id tag for Christmas, but sadly, it’s not a RoadID. I’ll probably use this one for this year and then get a real RoadID!
Matt. Glad you are protected. Now, when you’re ready to upgrade to a RoadID, you know where to click, to get one. Just visit me at runwritedig, and click the link there. 🙂
I finally got my Road ID about two weeks ago. It really is a great item that you hope you never have to use.
So true!
