In my last post, I showed how to convert a nasty old bunny hutch into a useful garden space. We were able to recycle and reuse materials from the old hutch and the yard. For less than $50 we converted a really unattractive corner of our yard into a usable, enjoyable space. Here is a picture of the raised bed garden before we landscaped and planted it.
Last week, when my wife saw what I had built, she mentioned that it would be a nice spot for her to plant her fall pumpkins. So today, while she took a quiet Mother’s Day nap, I snuck out back and planted and landscaped her pumpkin patch. When she woke up, I had her look out our kitchen window to see her Mother’s Day present.
HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY honey.
